Cities and Urban Centres are continuously evolving dynamic entities. These are in principle, living units, that are thriving on lot of interconnected resources and materials which include both natural as well as man-made. Further these habitations provide wide range of services that have both economic and ecological ramifications in turn impacting the liveability of these centres.
These cities will therefore grow in an ever-changing world that has location and space (geospatial information) inherently tied to its different activities. Geospatial information therefore provides that inherent connect between several interacting systems both in the physical world as well as in the digital world.
